GERARD BATTEN FOR LONDON MAYOR
Gerard Batten, MEP for London, has been selected as UKIP's candidate in the London Mayoral election in May 2008. Gerard said, "London needs a new mayor with radical policies who will keep Council Tax down, get traffic moving, and crack down on crime. I am that man." Gerard was confirmed as UKIP's candidate at the UKIP Party Conference at the Troxy Centre on 6 October. The Mayoral and London Assembly Elections will be held on 1 May 2008.
